One of the throughlines for this year's UPTC is how the TESOL profession needs to evolve in order to maximize student learning for the future.  How are you evolving and what needs to be done in the future in order to address the needs of the English language learner?

If any tweeters are attending UPTC, I'm using the hashtag #UPTC2011.

Here's my idea. To better maximize student learning we need to incorporate technology to do the mundane task of flash cards. With cloud computing becoming more popular, there are a number of 21 Century tools that students could use to create their own presentations of vocabulary that they think they will need to know. If we share them in blogs or Wikis or on a site that is free, then students begin to reap the benefits from other students projects.
